Will there be an early ATAR release in 2023?

Hi all, this is Ollie, here to deliver the hard hitting investigative journalism that really matters. We know that the wait for results release must be agonising, but we wanted to share something that our round-the-clock journos discovered.
It is somewhat well known that in previous years, ATAR results were released a day before the “official” SCSA release day (this year, Monday December 18). We’ve noticed something interesting:
- According to TISC, ATARs will be released on Sunday December 17 (source)
- According to SCSA, subject results will be released on Monday December 18 (source)
According to the Wayback Machine, this trend occurred in 2022 and 2021 as well. Sources:

I won’t make conclusions out of this, because I’m not TISC or SCSA. But we thought you all might find it useful. Draw conclusions as you wish.
